TORONTO – November 25, 2009 – CNSX Markets Inc. today announced a renewed initiative to highlight the superior value proposition of being listed on the Canadian National Stock Exchange (CNSX) and encourage existing listed companies to switch to CNSX.? The initiative builds on the momentum established in 2009 and offers a financial incentive for companies to switch before the end of April next year.

In 2009, 22 companies sought to move their listing across from the TMX Group markets – by applying to list on CNSX. For example, in November, CNSX listed Bestar Inc. (BES), one of 5 companies that have switched over from the TSX main board this year alone. In addition, a significant number of companies have also chosen CNSX for their initial public offering during 2009.

Companies list on CNSX for a variety of reasons. But the driving force behind most of these new listings is CNSX’s optimized listing regime, which combines market integrity and enhanced disclosure with a simplified listings process. This results in a saving of both management’s time and shareholder’s money, in the short and long term.

A move to CNSX is particularly attractive for companies that are contemplating a transaction or restructuring that will likely require pre-vetting and additional filing and transaction fees on the company’s current exchange,” stated William Woods, Managing Director, CNSX.? I am personally inviting all TSX and TSX-V listed companies to make the move now, well ahead of the start of the New Year. CNSX represents the smart choice for 2010,” he added.

A switch can take as little as 15 business days to complete, a company can use its existing public disclosures to create the application, and CNSX does not require an application to be sponsored, providing further cost reductions. CNSX has posted on its website (www.cnsx.ca) a memorandum entitled “Why Switch your Listing to CNSX?” to assist companies in understanding how easy the process of switching a listing is.
