Mantis Mineral Corp. has announced the consolidation of its common shares on a five old for one new basis. The post-consolidation common shares of Mantis will begin trading on Friday, September 21, 2007. There are currently 171,982,733 common shares outstanding. The consolidation will reduce the number of shares outstanding to 34,396,547.

Mantis Mineral Corp. was granted an exemption from CNQ's requirement that the company change its name as part of a share consolidation. Mantis's symbol will change to "MINE" causing all open orders on "MINT" to be cancelled at the end of business today. CNQ Dealers are reminded to re-enter their orders taking into account the share consolidation under the new symbol.
